Effective January 22, 2023, Cboe Options Exchange (C1) will introduce looping complex instrument definitions to feed server unit 35 Complex Multicast PITCH and TOP feeds.

Currently, sequenced complex instrument definitions are sent when an instrument is created, and all instrument definitions are available via SPIN server sessions.

On the effective date, Cboe will introduce looping complex instrument definitions to feed server unit 35 Complex Multicast PITCH and TOP feeds. The new looping behavior will result in un-sequenced complex instrument definition messages being sent throughout the trading day as bandwidth allows. Simple instrument definitions are not sent on unit 35 feed servers because no simple instruments trade on this unit.
