Effective immediately, Cboe is accepting connectivity requests for cross connects to the Cboe Disaster Recovery (DR) switch pair located in the Equinix CH3 data center.

This includes the DR switch pair for BYX Equities, BZX Equities, EDGA Equities, EDGX Equities, BZX Options, C2 Options, EDGX Options, C1, CFE, Cboe Global Indices, as well as LiveVol, Silexx, Cboe Global Indices, and FT Options.

In conjunction with sunsetting Cboe’s disaster recovery environments in the Centersquare ORD1 data center on a future date to be announced, customers currently connected to the DR switch pair in the ORD1 data center will need to obtain a cross connect to the DR switch pair located in Cboe’s existing point of presence (POP) in the CH1 data center or to the new Cboe DR switch pair located in the CH3 data center.

The same Cboe hardware in CH1 will be used in CH3. The customer access switches are DCS-7050-SX3 models.
