SIX welcomes Valour Digital Securities as its newest crypto ETP issuer
SIX today welcomes Valour Digital Securities Limited as the 19th issuer of Exchange-Traded Products (ETPs) with crypto-assets as underlying.
Valour Digital Securities Limited lists two products on the Blockchains Internet Computer (ICP) and Hedera (HBAR). With this launch, Valour Digital Securities Limited lifts the total number of listed crypto products to 451.
Valour Digital Securities Limited further expands the range of crypto ETPs available on SIX, providing investors with access to the Internet Computer blockchain project and Hedera. The 1Valour Internet Computer (ICP) Physical Staking ETP is designed to track the price of ICP, the native token of the Internet Computer blockchain – a project focused on enabling smart contracts to run directly on its network to support decentralized and scalable internet infrastructure. Together, these ETPs provide diversified access to next-generation blockchain technologies that are transforming the digital landscape.
In addition, both offer a unique yield-generating feature at a fixed rate, while enabling a fully compliant product that is 100% physically backed, and securely stored in cold storage by licensed custodians.
Since the beginning of the year, the 188 crypto-asset ETPs listed on SIX Swiss Exchange have generated a trading turnover of CHF 2.06 billion across 104,000 trades. This represents a 51% increase compared to the first half year of the previous year. Of the total 188 ETPs with crypto-asset underlyings, Bitcoin leads in trading volume share at 37.4%, followed by Solana at 22.9%.
