LINE NEXT adds crypto asset LINK as payment method on global NFT platform DOSI
LINE NEXT Inc., LINE’s venture dedicated to developing and expanding the NFT ecosystem, announced today that it has added LINE’s crypto asset LINK as a payment method on the global NFT platform DOSI.
Users can now pay with LINK on DOSI by connecting DOSI Wallet with LINK’s non-custodial wallet called DOSI Vault. Users can also make purchases using credit cards, Naver Pay, and Ethereum on their DOSI Wallet—however, when paying with LINK, the gas fee (commission fee) is reduced by 98% and the trading speed is 400 times faster compared to Ethereum.
Also, an additional 30% of membership points called DON will be given based on trading amounts, compared to other payment methods.
By adding LINK as a payment method, LINE NEXT further expands its multi-currency trading system and will add more options in the future. Additionally, this marks LINK’s debut as a global payment method, strengthening the LINE Blockchain ecosystem.
“With the addition of LINK, LINE NEXT is the first NFT platform to provide multi-currency trading options that includes credit cards, local mobile payment services and crypto assets,” said Youngsu Ko, CEO of LINE NEXT. “Giving users more choices will expand the NFT market along with LINK’s token economy.”
Since DOSI’s beta launch in September last year, over 1 million wallets have been issued based on LINE Blockchain. Furthermore, the total number of times that users participated in the events organized by DOSI Adventure has surpassed 2 million. To continue driving that growth, DOSI plans to add more NFT projects to broaden the NFT options available to our users around the world.
