eToro disables $LUNA on its platform due to market conditions
Online broker eToro has disabled $LUNA on its platform. The company has blamed market conditions for the move.
The broker has issued the following brief notice to its clients:
“We have taken the decision to disable $LUNA on the eToro platform due to market conditions. Existing client positions remain unaffected”.
Let’s recall that eToro added Terra (LUNA) to its crypto offering in April 2022, that is, the addition is pretty recent.
Terra (LUNA): Terra is a blockchain platform focused on decentralized stablecoins. LUNA is the native asset of Terra, and is used for staking, governance, and collateral for the network’s algorithmic stablecoins.
eToro did not elaborate on what factors in the current market situation exactly triggered its decision to disable $LUNA.
