eToro announces resumption of LUNA trading
Following Luna’s crash by almost 100% and preceding the Terra hard fork, investing in $LUNA was halted on eToro for its clients on May 26th 2022.
Following the Terra blockchain validators’ decision to resume certain activities on the Terra blockchain, and certain changes in market conditions, on May 31, 2022, eToro said it is able to resume trading in $LUNC.
Traders are advised to ensure that they have done independent and adequate research into the Terra Network fundamentals as to date. It is important to note that the value of Luna could also drop similarly again, as a result of blockchain forks, depreciation, failures in execution and so on. As usual, eToro encourages its clients to trade responsibly.
Investing in $LUNC is high-risk, and may include extreme price volatility, order pauses and cancellations, blockchain vulnerabilities, low trading volumes, market illiquidity, delisting, suspension of trade, and other factors which may adversely affect your investing and significantly increase the likelihood of losing a substantial amount of your funds (or all of them), even over a short period of time. $LUNC may also be removed due to certain security concerns we may hold along with regulatory requirements.
eToro is aware of the Terra Network community’s efforts to preserve their community and vision via the establishment of a new chain, forming a new community and facilitating it through the migration of developers and reaching out to new members. The broker continues to monitor the situation.
