Exclusive: ActivTrades Chairman Patrick Storey steps down, replaced by Martin Bleisteiner
FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that longtime ActivTrades director Patrick Storey has stepped down from the CFD broker’s board of directors, where he served as Chairman since 2022, and as an Independent Non-Executive Director since 2017.

Patrick Storey was a Senior Partner in the Financial Services Group of accounting firm Grant Thornton for many years, before departing the firm in 2019. He also serves as a director at a number of companies including Think Money Group, Arch Insurance, and Pepper Financial Services.
Replacing Patrick Storey as Chair of ActivTrades is Martin Bleisteiner (pictured above), who joined the company last year to head Compliance.

ActivTrades announces that Patrick Storey has stepped down from his role as Chairman, following years of dedicated service to the Board and the Group. The company extends its sincere thanks to Patrick for his leadership, guidance and contribution during an important period of development.
Martin Bleisteiner has been appointed to succeed him as Chairman. His appointment has been approved by the UK Financial Conduct Authority.
With 19 years of experience across regulatory and brokerage environments, and having joined in August 2025 as Group Chief Compliance Officer and Non-Executive Director, Martin brings continuity, deep sector expertise and a strong understanding of the business to the role.
ActivTrades Plc is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK and has licensed subsidiaries in several other jurisdictions. The company is controlled by its longtime CEO, Swiss national and Monaco resident Alex Pusco.
