FNG has learned that leading Australia based Retail FX and CFDs broker Pepperstone has made some changes to its senior management “C-Suite”, naming Tom Williams (pictured above) as the company’s new Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Tom Williams has been with Pepperstone since 2022, serving as General Manager – Financial Risk, Analytics & Operations at the company’s Melbourne headquarters. Prior to Pepperstone, Tom spent nine years at GO Markets, as Head of Trading.

In a related move, Pepperstone has promoted London based executive Rob Bowen to the position of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of the company. Rob joined Pepperstone in 2020, and has since served as Chief Executive Officer of Pepperstone Ltd (in the UK), as well as Group Chief Operating Officer (COO).

FNG spoke with Pepperstone CEO Tamas Szabo, who explained the changes,

“Rob’s new title better reflects his role of looking after all commercial aspect of the business including marketing and a newly elevated product function. Tom Williams has been promoted to the executive team and will look after all operational aspects of the business and continue to look after the market risk function.”
