JPX confirms none of its email info leaked during recent email security service cyberattack
Japan Exchange Group (JPX) today issued an update regarding a recent cyberattack on the email security service “IIJ Secure MX Service.”
Last week, JPX and its subsidiaries made an announcement titled “Notice Regarding Potential Leak of Email Information” concerning a cyberattack by a third party on the email security service “IIJ Secure MX Service,” which is used by JPX and provided by Internet Initiative Japan Inc. (“IIJ”). Back then, JPX announced the possibility of some of its email information being leaked.
Today, JPX stated that none of its email information leaked because of the cyberattack.
JPX said:
“After conducting an investigation in cooperation with IIJ, we have confirmed that none of our email information has been leaked.
We pay full attention to information security, including preventing unauthorized access, and will continue to strengthen our information security measures”.
