FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that longtime IG Group (LON:IGG) executive, and its Group Chief Risk Officer, Joe McCaughran, has left the company and joined payments and clearing technology and services provider ClearBank, as its new Chief Risk & Compliance Officer.

Joe McCaughran had been with IG Group, the leading UK based online broker, for more than 14 years, joining initially in 2010 as a Compliance Manager before being promoted to Group Chief Compliance Officer in 2015 and then to Group Chief Risk Officer in 2017. He has also previously worked at Willis Towers Watson’s OneExchange, and at JLT Group. Joe holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Swansea University.

ClearBank provides clearing services and banking infrastructure to financial industry clients. The company’s banking licenses and real-time technology enable brands to offer secure accounts and payment clearing that enhance the customer experience. ClearBank had Revenues of £112 million, and a Net Loss of £11 million, in 2024.
