Italy’s CONSOB orders blocking of more illegal investment websites, total reaches 1,236
Italy’s Companies and Exchange Commission (CONSOB) has issued orders for the blocking of websites belonging to four unauthorized investment entities.
The websites targeted by the latest orders are:
- “Flowtradey” (website https://flowtradey.nl);
- State Street Markets Limited (website www.streetstate-vip.com);
- “AlfacapitalCFD” (website https://alfacapital-cfd.com and related page https://client.alfacapital-cfd.com);
- “Peoplelife-Datexit Limited” (website https://peoplelife-datexit.com).
The number of websites blacked out since July 2019, when CONSOB got the power to order the blocking of access to the websites of fraudulent financial intermediaries, has thus risen to 1,236. Last week, the regulator ordered the blocking of access to the websites of five unauthorized investment entities.
The black-out of these websites by Internet service providers operating on Italian territory is ongoing. For technical reasons, it can take several days for the blocking to be implemented.
