Finyard CMO Rachel Demosthenous leaves to start Creative Rangers agency
FNG has learned that longtime FX and CFDs industry marketing executive Rachel Demosthenous has left her position as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at broker technology platform and tech provider Finyard, to start a new online marketing agency called Creative Rangers.
Based in Limassol, Rachel was one of a handful of executives who joined founder Dmitrij Pruglo at around this time last year, to help get Finyard off the ground. Prior to Finyard, Rachel spent five years as CMO of Retail FX broker XM.com and its sister brand Trading.com. She had previously worked as CMO for London Capital Group (LCG), and as Marketing Manager at easyMarkets, working in “the industry” since 2012.
Rachel’s move marks the latest in a string of CFDs industry CMOs who left to open their own shingle in the online marketing area, including former The Trading Pit, M4Markets, and Tickmill CMO Themis Christou who recently launched Uveler Marketing, and ex OneRoyal CMO Vince De Castro who launched De Castro Media – Vince has since joined TopFX as CMO.
Creative Rangers is described as a boutique Digital Marketing Agency. From its website, it seems as though its initial clients are from outside the online trading sector, including companies in investment management, real estate, and digital business cards.
