FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that leading institutional trading and liquidity services firm Finalto has hired experienced FX industry executive Ivan Wong, as Head of Sales Asia. Ivan will be based in Finalto’s Singapore office for his new role.

Ivan Wong joins Finalto from FX and crypto ECN Spotex, where he was Managing Director, APAC Head of Sales and Distribution. Before joining Spotex Ivan served as the Head of APAC account management at Coinbase. Previously, he held the position of Head of Greater China for BidFX, an SGX company. Ivan has also previously worked at 360T, ICAP, Integral and OANDA.

Alex MacKinnon, Regional CEO of Finalto Asia, shared his enthusiasm for the new appointment, stating,

Ivan Wong also shared his insights on his new role,

London based Finalto has been steadily increasing its footprint in Asia, after being acquired last year by Hong Kong based investment group Gopher Investments. We discussed Finalto’s Asia plans earlier this summer with Alex MacKinnon, Regional CEO of Finalto Asia.
