TradingView adds new chart type
TradingView has added a new chart type: Columns, which you can find in the chart type selection menu.
The default column height corresponds to the closing price. In the chart settings on the Symbol tab, you can choose a different price value for building the column.
You can also customize column colors:
- Up color when the open price is less than the close price, green by default.
- Down color when the closing price is less than the opening price, red by default.
TradingView has been regularly enhancing the platform functionalities. Earlier in June, for instance, TradingView enabled traders to add currencies and measurement units to their favorites.
You do this in the currency or unit selection menu — just hover over the desired currency and click “Add to Favorites”. To remove an item from your favorites, just click on the star again.
In May, TradingView introduced a long-awaited improvement to the multi-chart mode – date range synchronization. It is a way more convenient and far easier way to analyze the price movements of an instrument (or several instruments) at different intervals.
Another recent addition is a new screener feature – filter the entire world. Now you can select markets by whatever country — or combination of countries — you want.
