Exclusive: BDSwiss hires IronFX/XM alum Andreas Neokleous as COO
FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned leading Retail FX and CFDs broker BDSwiss has continued to reshape its executive C-Suite, hiring Andreas Neokleous as the company’s new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Andreas will also oversee BDSwiss’ PMO, IT and BI departments and report directly to the CEO.
Andreas Neokleous joins BDSwiss from rival Cyprus based broker IronFX, where he was Head of Project and Product Management for the past two years. He also previously worked for five years at XM.com, in various project management and operations roles.
The latest move at BDSwiss comes after we reported last month that the company appointed Nicolas Shamtanis as its new CEO. Nicolas joined BDSwiss in September 2021, as Deputy CEO, following a 15-year career within the forex industry, having previously held key leadership roles at Exness and easyMarkets. Other recent hires at BDSwiss include former FXPrimus executives Natale Mastoroudes as Head of HR, and Daniel Takieddine as CEO MENA in Dubai, as well as MultiBank and ADSS alum Khalil Cheikha as VP Sales.
Nicolas Shamtanis, CEO at BDSwiss commented on the appointment:
“Andreas has an outstanding reputation in the Forex and CFD trading industry and we’re very pleased to be welcoming him on board. In an increasingly demanding fintech arena, having a strong COO with a focus on technology can be instrumental in our product and client experience optimisation efforts. I am confident that Andreas’ wealth of expertise will benefit not only our internal operations but will also support our current expansion plans and contribute to BDSwiss’ continued success.”
