Dubai based Retail FX and CFDs broker MultiBank has announced that it has hired Vibhanshu Bahuguna as Senior Director at its institutional ECN unit MEX Exchange. The move comes about two months after the passing of Keith Tebbutt, Senior Director at MEX Exchange and effective “#2” to MEX Exchange CEO David Ogg.

Vibhanshu Bahuguna, who is based in Singapore, began his career at Bloomberg before joining TradingScreen, where he delivered multi-asset trading access solutions. He later managed the Currenex and FX Connect franchise for State Street across Southeast Asia before leading TradAir’s Asia-Pacific business from 2015, driving the adoption of FX aggregation, pricing engine and white-label trading technology until the company’s acquisition by ION Group in 2022.

Most recently, Vibhanshu headed Sales and Business Development at Cypator ECN, working alongside TradAir’s original co-founder to expand the platform’s institutional footprint.

Earlier this year MEX Exchange added another TradAir alum, Brian Andreyko, as Chief Product Officer (CPO).
