Gareth Edwards acquires more shares in Cornerstone FS

Gareth Edwards now holds 471,688 Ordinary Shares representing about 2% of the current Issued Share Capital of Cornerstone FS.

Gareth Edwards, Non-Executive Director of Cornerstone FS, has purchased 24,033 ordinary shares at a price of 16.9p per share.

Cornerstone FS has appointed Robert O’Brien to the newly created position of Interim COO of FXPress Payment Services Limited.

Cornerstone FS has appointed Bill Newton, Chief Information Officer, and Stephen Flynn, Chief Technology Officer, to its Board of Directors.

The total consideration payable for the acquisition of Capital Currencies by Cornerstone FS is up to £3 million.

A key contributor to revenue growth was Cornerstone’s new Asia team that was brought on board in the second half of 2021.

Robert O’Brien was previously at Vorto Trading Ltd, focused on inward investment into the UK from Asian clients.

The team specialised in marketing international payment services (delivered by the Group’s platform) to companies servicing HNWIs from Asia.
