Saxo Bank enables offering collateral on Mutual Funds
Multi-asset investment specialist Saxo Bank has informed its white label partners that it is now possible to offer collateral on Mutual Funds.
Until now, only shares and bonds could be used as margin collateral. It is now possible to configure collateral profiles to include mutual funds, so that clients with positions in this product can use them as margin collateral for derivative positions as well.
If you want to apply Saxo’s own collateral profile to your clients, this is already set up. If you add mutual fund collateral values to your own collateral profiles, please contact your Account Manager.
Let’s note that Saxo has reopened the offering of FX Options contracts with maturities of up to one year for the following instruments: CAD/CHF, CHF/JPY, CHF/NOK, EUR/CHF, GBP/CHF, and USD/CHF.
The offering was previously limited to 180 days due to negative rates in CHF, but this limitation has been resolved with the latest rate hikes.
Saxo Bank has also removed minimum price steps for FX orders.
