Robinhood ups UK effort with pub quiz nights
It is hard to think of something more culturally “UK” than a visit to the local pub after work. And so US neobroker Robinhood (NASDAQ:HOOD), which has been actively increasing its UK presence this year, has announced that it will launch a series of pub quiz nights across the UK — a new initiative designed to spark curiosity about money, investing and the financial markets.
And, of course, build the Robinhood brand in about the most grassroots way possible in the UK, at the pub.
Partnering with Question One and Quiz Live
Partnering with leading pub quiz providers Question One and Quiz Live, Robinhood will bring a new category of financial questions to more than 100 quiz nights across the country. The questions cover a mix of pop culture, history, and financial trivia, whether it’s Only Fools and Horses, the Roman Empire or the FTSE 100.
From London to Liverpool, Wolverhampton to Hull, quiz teams across England will be putting their financial know-how to the test — and picking up a few insights along the way.
The initiative is part of Robinhood’s ongoing mission to democratise finance and boost financial literacy. By weaving simple, approachable financial questions into popular weekly quiz nights, Robinhood aims to make financial education more culturally relevant.

Jordan Sinclair, President of Robinhood UK said,
“Investing can be a powerful tool for building financial security. Still, financial literacy in the UK remains stubbornly low, not due to a lack of interest, but because clear, accessible money education isn’t easy to come by. By adding a financial twist to a much-loved British institution, the pub quiz, we’re helping to build financial confidence in a way that’s social, fun and approachable.”
Liam Elcock from Question One said,
“We reach thousands of people across the UK every week through our pub quizzes, where testing knowledge and sparking conversation is what it’s all about. Working with Robinhood has been a real pleasure, and we’re excited to bring something a little different to quiz nights across the country.”
At the end of the campaign, Robinhood said it will analyse the anonymous quiz results to better understand where people feel most confident, and where further financial education is most needed.
Through initiatives like this, Robinhood continues to blend learning, community and access, empowering people across the UK to take control of their financial futures.
