OANDA Japan to change margin requirements for USD/SEK
OANDA Securities, the Japanese subsidiary of online broker OANDA Corporation, will change the margin rates for the USD/SEK currency pair.
From the start of trading on November 7, 2022, the margin rate for USD/SEK (US dollar/ Swedish krona) will be changed for corporate accounts on the Tokyo server and NY server. The margin requirement will be increased from a previous level of 2% to a new level of 3%.
OANDA warns customers who hold positions in the relevant currency pairs that a loss cut may occur due to the change in the margin rate. These traders are advised to reduce their position in advance or to make sure that they have enough funds in their account.
On October 10, 2022, the margin rates for GBP/USD and GBP/JPY for corporate accounts on the Tokyo server and NY server were changed from the previous level of 2% to a new level of 3%.
