OANDA ends patent infringement lawsuit against GAIN Capital
OANDA Corporation has filed a stipulation of its patent infringement lawsuit targeting GAIN Capital Holdings.
The document, submitted at the New Jersey District Court on February 26, 2026, states that OANDA and GAIN have resolved and settled all claims asserted in the action, which commenced in May 2020.
On Thursday, the lawsuit, including all claims and counterclaims, was dismissed with prejudice. Each party agreed to bear its own attorneys’ fees and expenses incurred in this action.
Plaintiff OANDA Corporation sued GAIN Capital Holdings, Inc. and GAIN Capital Group, LLC for alleged infringement of two United States Patents directed to trading currencies over a computer network.
