Mario Singh leaves Fullerton Markets roles for VC investments via Masha Ventures
Mario Singh, Founder and longtime CEO of Far East focused offshore CFDs broker Fullerton Markets, has updated his LinkedIn profile indicating that he has stepped away from his day-day-to-day roles at Fullerton, to focus on early stage investing.
Mario Singh has been serving as Chairman of Fullerton since 2022, when he brought on board former FXPrimus executive Rahul Sodhy as CEO (although we understand that Mr. Sodhy left Fullerton at the end of 2024), a role that Mario had previously also held since founding the company in 2015. He is now showing that he is no longer Chairman, although via his control of the company Mario is likely still involved in key strategic decisions at Fullerton.
As far as his future is concerned, Mario now appears to be fully focused on Singapore based Masha Ventures, which he describes as a venture firm focused on backing transformative entrepreneurs who have the potential to drive significant positive change on the global stage. Masha will look to invest in companies across multiple sectors, from seed to Series A, helping them scale globally.
Masha’s list of initial portfolio companies seems to confirm the multiple sectors approach, with the firm taking stakes in early stage startups across Big Data, Education, and Health & Wellness, among some fintech investments.
Fullerton Markets, which focuses on clients across the Far East region, is managed mostly from Singapore but is domiciled offshore in the British Virgin Islands.
