Logic Investments enters special administration
On 16 January 2026, Logic Investments Ltd entered special administration. Alex Watkins and Ed Boyle of Interpath Ltd were appointed as joint special administrators.
Logic Investments is authorised by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and regulated to provide wealth management services.
On 16 December 2025, Logic Investments agreed to an FCA requirement preventing it from accepting new clients, client money or assets; or moving existing client money or assets without FCA consent. This was done because of concerns over the firm’s financial position, and with the aim of protecting clients.
The firm’s directors have concluded the firm is insolvent and applied to the court to place Logic Investments into special administration.
The joint special administrators will:
- Manage client claims against the firm.
- Return client money and custody assets funds to clients, where possible.
As the firm is still regulated by the FCA, the regulator will work with the joint special administrators to seek the best outcome for clients.
The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) protects consumers when financial services firms fail. It is the compensation scheme for customers of UK authorised financial services firms.
If a case meets the conditions for protection, the FSCS will cover custody assets and client money shortfalls up to £85,000, including costs associated with distributing these back to clients.
The FSCS decides which cases meet these conditions. The joint special administrators will work with the FSCS to decide who is eligible.
If you have any questions about the process and what happens next, contact the joint special administrators directly.
