IG Securities, the Japanese subsidiary of electronic trading major IG Group, is set to terminate its introductory program.

The change reflects improvements in the trading environment, including changes to the product size. The change in product size implemented in May 2025 has enabled IG Japan to provide a more comfortable trading environment for many customers, so the broker is retiring the Introductory Program.

The Introductory Program was a preferential program available for two weeks immediately after one’s trading account was activated, allowing clients to trade at 50% of the normal minimum.

The service will end on August 17, 2025.
