FNG Exclusive… Much of our recent coverage of Retail Forex brokers signing sponsorship or brand ambassador deals has been around sports, and specifically European soccer. Which makes sense – teams and players in the EPL and Serie A and La Liga et al are well followed not just at home but around the world. The key demographic of those who follow sports match well with that of online trading – namely male, and young to middle age.

However there are indeed many other geographies and demographics out there, and we are also beginning to see an increase in more local and region specific deals.

And here is one such new agreement – FNG has learned that London based, FCA regulated Hantec Markets has taken a step to beef up its presence in Africa, signing up Nigerian music producer, entrepreneur and social influencer Michael Collins Ajereh, better known as Don Jazzy or Don Baba J.

Don Jazzy is a very popular and well-followed celebrity across Africa, with 5.2 million Twitter followers and 9.6 million Instagram followers. Indeed, @donjazzy let the world know about his new hookup with Hantec on Instagram, posting:

Hantec Markets has been taking steps to increase its influence and client base outside the UK of late. FNG had also exclusively reported back in July that the company hired Hamza Arabyat to head Middle East sales, out of Jordan.
