eToro shares pop 29% in first day of trading post IPO. Following the upsizing of its IPO size and pricing, Israel based social trading focused online broker eToro has had a very good first day of trading. eToro Group Ltd (NASDAQ:ETOR) shares traded up from the start of the day on Wednesday from their $52 IPO pricing, which as noted was above the initial indicative $46-50 range in eToro’s IPO filing before its roadshow with investors.

Cyprus and India based retail prop trading firm Hola Prime has announced five-time NBA All-Star, New York Knicks basketball player Karl-Anthony Towns as its first-ever sports Brand Ambassador. Amsterdam based neobroker BUX has announced that its CEO and co-founder Yorick Naeff will take on the role of Head of Innovation at Dutch bank ABN AMRO, effective February 1, 2026. Yorick Naeff has led BUX since 2020, overseeing its expansion across Europe and its evolution into a leading platform for long-term investing.
Robinhood buys Bitbuy and Coinsquare operator WonderFi for $179 million. US neobroker Robinhood is expanding its business north of the border, as well as in the crypto sphere, announcing that the company has entered into an agreement to acquire WonderFi, a Canadian leader in digital asset products and services, for C$250 million (USD $179 million).
