eToro expands US presence buying Gatsby for $50 million. Social trading focused online broker eToro has announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Gatsby, an app-based options trading platform. The price paid by eToro is reportedly $50 million. Gatsby (at website trygatsby.com), based in New York, is a commission-free options and stock trading app focused on a younger demographic.
Crypto.com secures FCA registration for certain cryptoasset activities. Cryptocurrency platform Crypto.com is now listed on the register managed by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). FORIS DAX UK LIMITED, operating as Crypto.com, is registered for certain cryptoasset activities in the UK. This registration will enable Crypto.com to offer a suite of products and services to customers in the UK, compliant with local regulations. According to the FCA register, the UK Financial Ombudsman Service will not be able to consider a complaint about this firm.
New release of cTrader mobile app offers cross broker functionality. Spotware Systems announces the new cTrader Mobile 4.5 release, which, among other features, now offers the cross broker functionality. Additionally, the update provides an opportunity for Deal Sharing, which allows users of the app to share their success via multiple social media channels. The version also features a series of chart improvements for a superior technical analysis, and a mobile deal history filter for increased convenience. Last but not least, the IOS version now comes with a Blotter, just like its Android counterpart.
