Cyprus based multi asset broker Exness began 2024 with a nice increase in trading volumes for the month of January over December 2023. However with both December and January having less trading days (and more holiday days) than most months, client trading activity was still somewhat slower than the $4 trillion+ in monthly volumes Exness saw in much of the second half of 2023.

Exness client trading volumes for January 2024 came in at $3.868 trillion, up 7% over December 2023’s $3.607 trillion.

Although below Exness’ record monthly volumes of $4.803 trillion set in October 2023, January did see a record number of active traders at Exness, with a whopping 722,452 clients placing trades globally during the month.

Exness was in the news over the first few weeks of 2024, with the company unveiling a major rebranding, as well as the departure of Chief Customer Officer (CCO) Damian Bunce.
