Exclusive: ETX Capital completes third investment banking deal, for Mosman
FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that Retail FX and CFDs broker ETX Capital has continued its journey diversifying out into investment banking.
ETX has acted as broker in a £900,000 fundraising (USD $1.2 million) for Mosman Oil and Gas Limited (AIM:MSMN), an oil exploration, development and production company. The new funds are to finance the company’s drilling activity in East Texas. As part of the transaction ETX receives 16,000,000 broker warrants exercisable at 0.125p for a two year period.
FNG reported exclusively last month that ETX was branching out into the capital raising business for small to mid cap publicly traded companies in the UK, something its existing FCA license allows it to do. In an interview with ETX Capital CEO Philip Adler we reported that ETX earlier this year acted as broker in a £1.45 million financing for energy company Kibo, and a £1.3m raise for Alba Mineral Resources.
ETX Capital was acquired earlier this month by Switzerland based fintech investment firm Guru Capital SA, led by former Swissquote executives Ryan Nettles and Luca Merolla.
