Retail FX and CFDs brokerage operator Doo Group has announced that on October 10, 2025 (i.e. last Friday), at 11:00am, it discovered that the Doo Group official Instagram account (formerly @doo_group) had been illegally accessed by an unidentified individual, with the account name and information maliciously altered.

The company said that this account no longer represents any official position of the Doo Group. It now appears as though the page has been taken offline.

The episode marks the latest in a series of setbacks for Doo Group, and its D Prime offshore CFDs brokerage brand. In late August a Doo Group call center in Kuala Lumpur was raided by Malaysia police, as part of a wider operation in the country targeting financial scams. Since that episode, a number of Doo Group / D Prime executives have left to other brokers, and the company laid off its Cyprus based marketing department.

Doo Group said it deeply apologizes for the inconvenience this incident has caused you. The company is currently working with the platform to restore the account and said it will pursue legal action against the perpetrators.
