FSCS investigates whether claims as to Trust Financial are possible
The UK Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) has provided an update regarding Trust Financial Planning Ltd.
Trust Financial is a small independent financial advice firm that has been authorised by the UK Regulators since 2004.
On 7 August 2025, Paul Stanley and Dean Watson of Begbies Traynor were appointed as joint liquidators of Trust Financial.
FSCS protection only applies to certain types of activity.
FSCS is not open to customer claims right now, but it is investigating whether any claims are possible. As part of this investigation, FSCS will be working closely with the joint liquidators and the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
