The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CYSEC) announces that it has decided, pursuant to section 8(1)(a) of the Investment Services and Activities and Regulated Markets Law of 2017 and section 4(7) of Directive DI87-05, to withdraw the Cyprus Investment Firm authorisation of IFC Investments Cyprus Ltd.

The decision was made in September but was announced by the regulator today. The withdrawal of the license is due to the company’s decision to expressly renounce it.

According to CySEC’s website, IFC Investments Cyprus Ltd operates through the following approved domains: www.ifc-center.com and www.capixal.com.

The regulator has recently withdrawn the CIF authorization of several investment firms. For instance, in July, CySEC withdrew the CIF license of Sharelink Securities & Financial Services Ltd and Finteractive Ltd. Those withdrawals also reflected the companies’ decisions to renounce their CIF licenses.
