CySEC reaches €20k settlement with NFS Network Financial Services
The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) today announced a €20,000 settlement with Cyprus investment firm (CIF) NFS Network Financial Services Ltd.
The settlement concerns the possible violation of the Investment Services and Activities and Regulated Markets Law of 2017 (“the Law”). In particular, the inspection for which the settlement was reached, taking place in July 2025, involved assessing the company’s compliance with articles 26(1) and 92 of the Law and paragraph 5 of the Directive for the Certification of Persons and the Certification Registers in relation to the knowledge and competence of the persons providing investment advice on its behalf.
The company has already paid the fine of €20,000.
It is noted that the amounts due to settlement agreements are calculated as revenue (income) to the Treasury of the Republic and do not constitute income of CySEC.
