CySEC reaches €10k settlement with UBK Markets

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) today announced a settlement with Cyprus investment firm (CIF) UBK Markets Ltd.

The settlement, under article 37(4) of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission Law of 2009, concerns the possible violation of the article 33(4) of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission Law, as applicable, regarding the non timely, full and accurate compliance to inspection notice of the CySEC addressed to it.

The settlement is for the amount of €10,000. UBK Markets has paid the amount of €10,000.

It is noted that all amounts payable from settlement agreements are considered revenue (income) of the Treasury of the Republic and do not constitute income of CySEC.
