TradingView adds CEX Screener to crypto market analysis tools
TradingView has unveiled the latest addition to its crypto market analysis tools — the CEX Screener.
This new product completes TradingView’s suite of screeners, complementing its existing Crypto Coins and DEX screeners. With the CEX Screener, traders can efficiently analyze crypto pairs traded on centralized exchanges.
TradingView users can find all the screeners, including the new one, in the main menu. How to get there? Simply navigate to Products and select Screeners.
To help you save time, TradingView has created ready-to-use collections that allow you to monitor various groups of crypto pairs effortlessly. With these screens, you can track perpetual futures with significant price movements, the most traded ETH contracts, spot pairs with high volatility, and more.
You can find these helpful screens in the CEX Screener’s main menu. Select Open screen… and browse the Popular screens section.
Moreover, you can create and customize your own screens to suit your specific trading strategies. Simply click Create new screen in the same menu.
Filters are an important component of effective market screening. In the CEX Screener, applied filters are displayed above the table, giving you an overview of your current selections as well as future filters.
If you don’t see the desired filters on the panel, you can easily search for and add them by clicking the + button.
The CEX Screener offers a wide range of useful filters, including:
- Symbol type. Choose between spot pairs, futures, or perpetual contracts.
- Base currency. Select the primary currency in the trading pair.
- Quote currency. Define the second currency in the trading pair.
- Exchange. Filter by centralized trading platforms.
- Volume in USD 24h and Volume change % 24h. Assess liquidity and trading activity.
By default, the filtered results are presented in a structured table, allowing you to easily scan and analyze key data.
You can switch between different column sets using the toolbar to ensure you focus on the most relevant metrics.
If you prefer a more visual approach, the CEX Screener supports the Chart view mode: it enables you to display data on charts such as candlesticks, bars, and more.
