Electronic trading major Interactive Brokers has released version 2.1 of the IBKR Desktop platform.

The latest release of the platform enhances Heatmap, which now displays performance across equities, fixed income, commodities, and more. This helps traders spot trends across the entire market.

To access this feature, please follow the steps below:

• Navigate to the Sitemap icon.
• Select Heatmap.
• In the top left corner select the Content drop-down menu and select Asset Class ETFs.

Another recent enhancement to the platform is the Last Size Extra Decimal feature which allows a user to view fractional values for Last Sizes for US Stocks and Warrants.

To enable this functionality, follow the steps below:

• Navigate to Settings.
• Select the Trading tab.
• Select Stocks or Warrants.
• Scroll down to Display Settings and click the drop-down menu to the right of Last Size Extra Decimal.
• Enter a maximum number of decimals to display for the stock or warrant last sizes.
