Electronic trading major Interactive Brokers has added a new charting system to the IBKR Mobile trading app.

The new charting system features sophisticated drawing and annotation tools, trendlines, and unique studies and indicators. To open, tap a chart from Quote Details and rotate your phone to landscape mode.

The latest version of the app also offers traders to discover ideas and new markets for potential investments using the Discover tool. Discover is your link to market-defining third-party content selected specifically to help you improve your success as a trader. Currently Discover supports content from Trading Central, a “premium, one stop shot for investment decision support.”

Also, Interactive Brokers has made it easier to find options strategies with its step-by-step Options Wizard. Select this new feature from the settings button on the Options & Spreads tool.

Interactive Brokers regularly updates its mobile apps. The broker has recently introduced options trading in GlobalTrader.

Those willing to trade options should go to the Quote Details window and tap Options. Traders can use the easy to use but powerful features to select Expiries, Buy/Sell and Calls/Puts. Tap a strike price to explore an option further, create an order, or add a leg to a strategy.
