UBS selects Clearstream for fund distribution support for former Credit Suisse business
UBS has chosen Clearstream to consolidate all its fund distribution support-related activities from the former Credit Suisse (CS) business.
UBS will align the full range of services around distribution support of the former CS business via Clearstream’s Fund Centre platform, benefitting from streamlined processes and reduced internal costs associated with the collection of trailer fees, as well as from optimised contract management.
Using the Clearstream Fund Centre platform will help UBS to focus on its core capability and support growth and expansion. This strategic move underscores the ongoing growth in Assets under Distribution (AuD) that Clearstream is experiencing and reflects the market’s confidence in Clearstream as a leading third-party fund platform.
Clearstream Fund Centre covers a full range of fund distribution support services built on the strong expertise and global network of asset managers. The platform supports fund distributors and asset managers for compliance-based know your distributor (KYD) processes and to comply with latest regulatory challenges around fund distribution, such as MiFID II.
Philippe Seyll, CEO of Clearstream Fund Centre S.A., said:
“We are thrilled to deepen our excellent relationship with UBS, now extending our support to the former CS business within UBS through our comprehensive fund distribution services. At Clearstream Fund Centre, we bridge the gap between fund distributors and asset managers globally, leveraging cutting-edge technology and streamlined distribution management. We are committed to upholding the high standards that have earned this confidence and look forward to driving mutual success.”
