Hantec Markets to launch Hantec Prime, adds Lee Holmes to head Institutional Sales
London based, FCA licensed Retail FX and CFDs broker Hantec Markets has announced that it has appointed Lee Holmes as the company’s new Head of Institutional Sales, in advance of the launch of Hantec Prime, the Institutional arm of Hantec Markets.
In his role, Lee Holmes will be responsible for building out and managing business development efforts across the firm’s different global markets.
Lee Holmes brings more than twelve years experience across the foreign exchange and derivatives markets landscape. Prior to joining Hantec Markets, Lee served as a member of the Executive Management of Infinox Global. During his tenure, Lee focused on sourcing and tailoring an institutional FX and CFDs liquidity solution to institutional clients. He has also held various director positions at other brokerage firms, including Zenfinex Limited and ForexVox.
Hayel Abu Hamdan, Chief Commercial Officer of Hantec Markets said:
“For this role, we were looking for someone who had the experience of working on both the retail and institutional side of FX and CFD trading. Given Lee’s experience, he was the obvious choice for helping us build strong relationships and drive our growth within the institutional community and we’re thrilled to welcome him onboard.”
Lee Holmes added:
“I’m excited to join Hantec Markets’ team and help them to expand their global presence across the institutional side of FX and CFD trading. I’m looking forward to being at a Company with a rich heritage, whose primary goal is to deliver the best trading experience for our customers.”
Hantec Prime is the newly-launched institutional trading arm of Hantec Markets. Hantec Markets is controlled by former ODL Securities and Rosenthal Collins executive Bashir Nurmohamed. Mr. Nurmohamed established the broker in 2010 with backing from Hong Kong based Hantec Group founder Tang Yu Lap. Hantec UK has undergone a recent management overhaul, with the company’s Executive Director and SMF1 (i.e. Chief Executive) responsibility officer Tony Sharpe leaving to join rival broker Trade Nation. Mr. Sharpe had held that role for about a year, after company senior executive Hayel Abu-Hamdan moved from London to the UAE to become Chief Commercial Officer for the overall Hantec group.
