FNG has learned that Retail FX and CFDs broker Traze has hired Naeem Afzal as Managing Director in its Dubai office. In his new role, Naeem will oversee sales in the MENA region for Traze.

Naeem Afzal joins Traze after spending the past two years as Regional Sales Director in the UAE for Australia based online broker GO Markets. Naeem has also previously worked at Pepperstone, IG Group, ICM Capital, and CMS Financial, over an 18 year career in the sector.

Late last year Traze hired longtime ICM executive Wassim Anastasiou, as Regional Director MENA in Dubai.

Traze is part of London based Zeal Group, and is operated mainly from Dubai. Group subsidiaries hold licenses from the UAE CMA (Category One), South Africa FSCA, as well as an FCA license in the UK (under the ZFX brand), and also operates an offshore entity in Seychelles. Traze and Zeal Group are controlled by Chinese national Yun Chen.
