FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that Phil Martin has resigned from FCA licensed FX, CFDs, and spreadbetting broker Finsa Europe Ltd.

Phil Martin had been with Finsa Europe since 2018 as a board member and Chief Product Officer (CPO). As CPO he was responsible for product strategy and aligning IT operations and technology delivery with business objectives. He also helped oversee the rebranding of Finsa Europe’s main retail operating brand name from Core Spreads to Trade Nation over the past 18 months.

Prior to joining Finsa / Core Spreads / Trade Nation, Phil Martin was Head of Programme Delivery at ETX Capital. He also worked as COO at fintech software firm Ariel Communications, and as Project Development Manager at City Credit Capital.

FINSA Europe and its various brands are controlled by UK entrepreneur Jasper White, who bought control of the company (then known as The Trader Management Company Limited) in 2014. Jasper White was previously CEO of sports betting concern Gambit Research. The company has been run day-to-day by CEO Stuart Lane since 2016.
