Singapore based institutional FX services and technology firm SGX FX has taken steps to build up its UK operation, hiring London based executive Charlotte Garrett as Liquidity Manager.

Charlotte Garrett joins SGX FX from institutional liquidity services firm Finalto, where she worked since 2024, serving as Operations Officer. Prior to her time at Finalto, Charlotte worked at TD Securities, and at consulting firm Delta Capita.

SGX FX, the FX arm of the Singapore Exchange, hired former CME Group / EBS Direct executive Hugh Whelan in 2024 to head its UK operation, from where the company runs its liquidity and data strategy. SGX FX is headed globally by Singapore based CEO Jean-Philippe Malé.
