Institutional FX liquidity and prime-of-prime service provider Advanced Markets has announced the appointment of Samer Mourched as CEO of its newly established Bermuda entity. Samer Mourched, formerly a senior executive with Swissquote, Alpari, MultiBank and most recently Accuindex, joins the global brokerage to lead the group’s Emerging Markets strategy and further expand on the firm’s product and market reach within developing regions.

This move follows the recent eight-figure investment round in Advanced Markets made by Mushegh Tovmasyan’s Forexify and Corbel Capital Partners, joining longstanding shareholders Macquarie Group and GFI Group LLC.
