Prop firm FundingPips hires FCA alum Andria Evripidou as Managing Director
Dubai based retail prop trading firm FundingPips has announced that it has hired Andria Evripidou, as Group Managing Director.
A native of Cyprus, Andria Evripidou spent the past two years running her own startup, XDA, which provides crypto and banking solutions for iGaming companies, including offshore casinos, crypto casinos, and companies working with clients in Emerging Markets. She has also served as the Chief Banking Officer of Xace, an alternative banking provider specialising in tailored financial solutions for the iGaming, fintech, and high-growth digital sectors.
From 2015-2020 Andria worked at UK financial regulator The FCA, as a Senior Policy Advisor on the Payments Policy team. After leaving The FCA Andria worked briefly at UK based neobank and payments company Revolut, as Global Authorisations Senior Manager.
Andria holds a Bachelors degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge, as well as a Masters and PhD (in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics) from the University of Nottingham.
