IG Group COO Jody Dunn departs
Longtime IG Group (LON:IGG) executive Jody Dunn has announced that she is leaving the company.
Jody Dunn has been with IG for nearly 24 years, joining the UK based online broker in 2022 as a Sales Trader, working her way up the ranks to become Head of Dealing in 2012, Head of Market in 2017, and then in 2024 she was promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO), under then-new IG Group CEO Breon Corcoran.
Jody posted the following note on LinkedIn today.
So, after almost 24 years I’ve made the call to leave IG.
Thank you to everyone I’ve worked with over the (many) years who made it a place I wanted to stay – from the quirky bookies I joined in 2002 as employee #122, to the global FTSE100 company it is today. So lovely to see so many of you last night!
Over the years I’ve learnt a lot, laughed a lot and lost A LOT of bets 😉
But life is bloody short and so I’ll be spending some more time with the family, starting with a 7 week trip to South America this summer (zero chance that will turn out to be too much togetherness).
Then, in September, once the girls are all back at school, I’ll have a think about what to do next – so let me know if you’re around for a catch-up/coffee/G&T then.
Happy Summer all.
