Harry Fry leaves Invast to head APAC for BidX Markets
London based, FCA regulated multi-asset liquidity solutions provider BidX Markets is continuing its international expansion drive, announcing the hiring of Harry Fry to oversee the firm’s Asia-Pacific (APAC) operations.
The B2B trading technology firm said that it has hired Fry due to the wealth of experience he brings from working within both the retail and institutional trading space.
Harry Fry will be based out of Australia, to help grow BidX Markets’ institutional trading business in the APAC region. He will be responsible for leading the brokerage’s efforts to develop and strengthen relationships with institutional clients and for implementing strategies to increase the company’s trading activity across East Asia, South Asia, and Oceania. He will also be overseeing a growing team of client relationship managers, and for ensuring that the brokerage is in compliance with local regulations.

BidX noted that Fry has a solid background from within both the retail and institutional space. Over the years he has held roles including Director of Prime Services, Trading Solutions Analyst, Oversights Analyst and UK funds consultant which has helped him develop an array of skills. Most recently he was Director, Prime Services at INV Inc unit Invast Global. Mr. Fry has also previously worked at Finalto.
BidX Markets has recently made some significant new hires as part of their expansion plans including the addition of Shaun French in Dubai as Multi-Asset Research Analyst providing institutional and professional clients with first class market news, research, and analysis.
BidX was founded in 2021 by Simon Blackledge, who had previously run MT4/MT5 white label solutions provider itexsys. The London headquartered brokerage provides tailored access for brokers, asset managers and funds to industry leading Tier 1 liquidity, connectivity, and distribution services.
