Dubai based, institutional focused multi-asset broker GTN has announced that the company has hired Jon Lester as its new Chief Operating Officer – Middle East. Based in the UAE, Jon will serve as “#2” to GTN UAE CEO Damian Bunce, who joined the company from Exness last year.

Jon Lester is a career banker, with stops at Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Standard Bank Group, and Nigeria’s Bank PHB, where he was COO of its UK operation. He also held senior roles at banks in Russia, working in Moscow for a five year period (2011-2016) for Renaissance Capital and for Sberbank. Most recently, Jon was COO of emerging market fixed income and money market investment firm Frontier Capital Group in Abu Dhabi.
