Gemma Godfrey to step down from role of non-exec director at Eight Capital Partners
Financial services operating company Eight Capital Partners plc today announced Board changes.
As a result of her increasing work commitments elsewhere, Ms. Gemma Godfrey will be adjusting her role to become a specialist fintech advisor to the company. As such she will be stepping down from the Board as Non-executive Director at the AGM.
Gemma Godfrey joined ECP as a Non-executive Director in February 2023.
Gemma Godfrey, a former entrepreneur, has global board experience across financial services, technology, media, public policy, and sustainability. The former FinTech Founder and CEO, whose business was acquired by a global insurance company, pioneered new services into the market.
She went on to launch a retail investor business on behalf of News UK, advised the UK government, and is a business expert on ITV (having been a boardroom advisor on The US Apprentice). She ran investment strategy for Brooks Macdonald Plc, having been the Chair of the Investment Committee for Credo Capital.
She started her career at Goldman Sachs and GAM, with a background in quantum physics.
