Gal Haber to step down as Plus500 Managing Director
CFDs broker Plus500 Ltd (LON:PLUS) today announces that Gal Haber, one of Plus500’s co-founders and its former CEO, has notified the Board of his intention to step down from his executive position as a Managing Director and from his position as a Director of the Board. The change is with immediate effect.
Mr Haber will continue to provide consultancy services to Plus500 in the future.
A selection process is being carried out by the Board, with a view to recruiting additional non-executive directors, to broaden the range of the Board’s experience and continue to diversify the composition of the Board.

“The Board would like to thank Gal for his significant contribution to the establishment and development of Plus500, since the Company’s inception in 2008. Gal played a pivotal role as CEO in leading Plus500 through a successful IPO in 2013. We wish Gal well for the future and we look forward to working with him, on a consultancy basis, going forward.”
Mr Haber has nearly 18 years’ experience in software programming and business development. He is one of the Founders of Plus500. Before taking the position of Managing Director of Plus500, he was Chief Executive Officer.
Before founding Plus500, Mr Haber served as chief operating officer of InterLogic Ltd, a ‘skilled games’ program provider for Internet, digital television and mobile devices, which he co-founded in 2004. Previously, Mr Haber worked for Top Image Systems Ltd, the enterprise content management specialist.
Mr Haber holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Technion, Israel.
