Exclusive: FXCM MD Michael Kamerman resigns
FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that longtime FXCM executive and Managing Director Michael Kamerman has resigned his position with the company.

Michael Kamerman was one of the longest tenured employees at FXCM, joining the company straight out of college (University of Missouri-Columbia) in 2005 as a Sales Associate in FXCM’s Dallas office. He rose up the ranks at FXCM, becoming VP Sales & Financial Services in the US based out of San Francisco. He then moved to London for FXCM in 2014 to oversee the company’s communications, strategy, and business development, reporting directly to FXCM CEO Brendan Callan.
It looks like Mr. Kamerman has a specific new position he is heading to, beginning in October. He posted the following note to social media:
Today is my last day at FXCM.
From start-up vibes, to global expansion, experiencing an IPO, to surviving near collapse, I couldn’t ask for more experiences in my 15 years here.
I have hundreds and hundreds of current and former FXCM’ers to thank for all their support over the years.
Finally, a huge thanks to Brendan for being a transformative CEO and mentor.
My next chapter begins in mid-October.
FNG spoke with FXCM CEO Brendan Callan, who had the following to say:
Mike has been an incredible asset to the company over the past 15 years. We can’t thank him enough for his hard work and dedication. He will forever be a part of the FXCM story.
We will miss him greatly and wish him all the best in his next ventures.
FXCM is controlled by US financial investment firm Jefferies.
